Dr. Hansen has been a distinguished Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics, and Director
of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona for more than a score of years. He is going
into practice that will include a famous children's hospital and the Mayo Clinic in the
Phoenix-Scottsdale area, and of course, will continue to be one of the country's leading
consultants in pediatric dermatology. He is a graduate of the Iowa College of Medicine,
did his pediatric training, internship, residency and chief residency at the
Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, dermatology training at the University of Arizona.
He is a past president of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the author of numerous
articles, and is co-author of the textbook, Pediatric Dermatology,
Schachner and Hansen, 3rd ed.
